Dave Coulter often visits art societies and galleries, painting live in front of people and sharing with them both the process of his work and his love of art generally.

His art and life are all about connecting with the people - to attend one of his live painting events and hear his stories, told as he works, brings another dimension to his work, and makes you part of his ongoing narrative. 

Dave Coulter’s paintings capture the people of the North West through the buildings of the North West – humanity moves through his work, from the person walking past the curve of the art gallery, traffic in the background in sharp contrast to the grand Georgian building, to people in shadow crossing the road.
